Hey guys,
having an issue with non persistent VDI machines and Zoom VDI version.
Our infrastructure (VMWare Horizon + Ivanti Environment Manager) works well using Zoom VDI version, but machines don't remember last logged on User. Everytime you newly login, you have to enter your name (when only joining) or credentials. Already folder redirecting appdata/ZoomVDI but i think the problem is caused by the encrypted files right there.
Just found no official documentation, so here i am. Thanks in advance at all. 🙂

Hi @zoome! I see you haven't received a response to your post. Are you still having an issue with this?

We too are in similar situation with similar setup however, we have SSO figured out and working but user settings are lost after logging out the computer...next time they log in all their settings are back to default.
Any guidance how to preserve user settings in non-persistent Horizon + DEM environment?

Old post, but we are having the same issue. Folder redirection for appdata/ZoomVDI is in place, but settings are reverted when users reboot and the VirtualBkgnd_ folder fills up with files from every reboot. I can pick a virtual background, check the box to touch up appearance and tell it to ring an additional device when I get a call. I reboot and all those settings have reverted even though my ZoomVDI\data directory is still out there redirected to a UNC path. From what support is telling me the settings should stick if the ZoomVDI\data directory survives the reboot, but it doesn't. There has to be some other setting / path involved in these settings..... IDK.
