Zoom taskbar appearing on its own

Over the last couple of weeks, I've experienced an issue where the bottom taskbar is appearing and disappearing on its own. I have it set to hide. My cursor is nowhere near the Zoom window, not even on the same monitor. I just ran the latest update to see if it made a difference. It didn't. It's very annoying and frustrating as I'm trying to record a clean video feed. Running on MacOS 15.7.1.

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @BlufishMedia.

When you say “bottom task bar”, do you mean the one with Audio, Video, Share, More, and Exit (among others).  I have seen times when either the window is not full screen and partially off centered, resulting in one or two edges being cut off; also (on Windows), I’ve seen the Windows task bar overlay the Zoom task bar.

One more thought: it’s designed to show and hide automatically when you press and release the Alt/Cmd key. Press it once to enable auto-show/hide; again to disable it. That’s probably what you’re experiencing.

Can you can provide a screen shot (redacted of any personal info if needed)? And what version of Zoom are you running?

Hi Ray,

Yes, the bar with the audio/video, etc.

Version: 6.6.11 (70003)

I'm not being allowed to upload screenshots. Nothing really to see. One shot shows the person with the taskbar, the next one shows him without it.  One minute it's there, next it's not.  I know if I scroll my mouse over the window, the bar will appear. My mouse is nowhere near the Zoom window.

I have the Zoom window full screen on a separate monitor, the same way I've used Zoom for 5 years.
