Recently, less than a week ago I had a very important meeting where I recorded it. Unfortunately, the recording did not appear in the directory it should've or in any other but I am sure that I pressed it and that I was authorized.. I think it may be because I closed the app without waiting for it to save.. Is there any way I can access this data, perhaps any temporary files? Any deleted files that are not permanently deleted yet...
I really need help, please!

Hi @VascoLCPS and oh no! Im sorry to hear about this! Can you please share whether that was a local or cloud recording?
I just tried closing the Zoom Client while local recording and closing the client, and it still popped up with the conversion window for me even after I confirmed leaving. If this was a local recording, there is no way to recover it if you did not allow the conversion process to take place after closing Zoom. Here's an article from our knowledge base about Troubleshooting local recording issues
If this was a cloud recording, and you initiated the recording button and closed out, the recording should still finish uploading to the cloud at https://zoom.us/recording

I have the same issue. Cloud recording. I am the host. We paused and restarted the recording numerous times during, so I know it was recording. I closed the meeting before stopping the recording. Did not realize that was required. I have not found the recording anywhere. It was over 2 hours long on 12/28/23.

Having a similar issue here as well. This is the second (of 5), important, recorded, meetings in the past week that isn't showing in the cloud. No doubt in my mind it was recorded; meetings just prior and just after appear fine, but the ones in the middle are missing. What is going wrong and how can it be fixed quickly?? Have 3 meetings tomorrow (01/11/24) that need to be recorded and I'm concerned this will continue to happen. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi @VascoLCPS @Needhelp2024 if you're unable to find your cloud recordings from https://zoom.us/recording suggest next steps is to open a ticket with our Zoom Support team to further investigate as to where and why your cloud recordings are not processing.

To initiate a cloud recording, yes, you will need to be a licensed user to record to the cloud. If you believe this was a cloud recording, do you know if you were the host of the meeting or just an attendee? If you were an attendee, the cloud recording will be available to the host at https://zoom.us/recording
Free/basic users only have access to recording locally on their device. You can also find location of initiated local recordings at https://zoom.us/recording as well.
