On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Zoom meetings not responding

Good morning,
I'm having a problem with zoom meetings. Every time I join a meeting the program stops responding (Windows 10). This happens before I even enter the audio of the call and without using the camera. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program, but the problem persists. What can I do?

Hello there,

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We're glad to have you here.

I'm sorry for the late response and inconvenience.

If Zoom keeps crashing, there could be various reasons behind this issue. One common cause is a compatibility problem, such as using a 32-bit version of Zoom Meetings instead of a 64-bit version. To troubleshoot this, you can follow these steps:

1. **Check Zoom App's Bit Version:**
- Access the Task Manager application on your computer.
- Navigate to the Processes tab and locate Zoom Meetings.
- If it shows "32-bit" next to it, you have the 32-bit version. If there is nothing next to it, you have the 64-bit version.

2. **Fixing the Issue:**
- Uninstall Zoom completely using a tool like CleanZoom.
- Download and install the 64-bit Zoom client from the Download Center.
- Update all computer drivers, including BIOS, to ensure they are up to date.
- Modify the Video Rendering Method if needed.

By following these steps, you can address the crashing issue with Zoom, especially if it is related to using the correct version of the Zoom client.
