Good day all,
I am having the hardest time in launching a zoom meeting with my school. I test out the audio and camera before launching and it working great. However, as soon as I launch the meeting the app freezes. I have the Chrome extension and also the latest version but to no avail. Is there someone out there who is having the same problem?

I'm having the same problem. It began with the most recent update - 5.8.6. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted my computer, and finally spent an hour on the phone with my IT dept. They believe it's an issue with this new update causing the system to "clock too fast" (whatever that means).

I was having the same Zoom meeting issue whenever I clicked on a meeting link it goes to a safelink page and will not launch.
I found 2 fixes:
1st fix: If you leave only http://zoom.us from your meeting link it will work. {Remember DO NOT LAUNCH, just copy the link}
2nd fix: If you change the link to ONLY the front part of the link "https://us02web.zoom.us" it will launch your meeting. All other meetings that start with ==> "us04web", "us06web" will not launch. Try it out and see
