Zoom dumps new meetings into my calendar instead of giving me a link to copy and paste myself

I went to schedule a new meeting in the Mac App and normally Zoom would end by creating a link I could copy and paste into my calendar.  It looks like they've (or I accidentally configured it) to just create the meeting in my gmail/Mac calendar directly instead of giving me a link.  This is actually making things MORE complicated.  How do I get it back to the previous look and feel with just a link and copy button?

You can disconnect your calendar from your Zoom account and then schedule the meeting without triggering a calendar invite and just copy the link that way. Alternatively there is a Zoom app, Salepager, that lets you schedule a meeting and displays the link for you to copy directly with one tap and allows for a calendar invite as well.
