Zoom Web App browser no longer works with AV1 codec

Since the last days I am no longer able to join meetings from the browser with the AV1 codec.

When clicking "Join from Your Browser" and entering your username it will hang at "Joining Meeting" indefinitely.

From the browser log I can see the following log messages:

It asks for H264 codec which is not available in my embedded browser. Before it used to work with AV1 codec. Why is it forcing H264 now? Is there a way to tell zoom to use AV1?
