Zoom Time Limit Changes

Like a lot of educators, I use Zoom for one-on-one lessons with students that last an hour long. If I purchase a  PRO license, do my students need to have a license? Can I call all 30 students at 30 different times? What does  "Purchase up to 9 licenses per account" actually mean?

Also, it is really inconvenient to have to stop a lesson at 40 minutes and log back in.

Starting May 2, 2022, Zoom is changing the meeting duration limit for 1:1 meetings hosted by Basic users on Free and Free (Credit Card Verified) accounts to 40 minutes.  As long as the Host of the meeting has a paid Zoom meeting license, the attendee does not need to have a Zoom license.  If you prefer to avoid a meeting timeout at 40 minutes, upgrade to a Pro account to remove the 40-minute limit from all future meetings.
