Zoom Sound

I am not very familiar with Zoom. My wife was trying to attend a banjo workshop on Zoom. She was connected with video and sound. The problem was that while she could hear the instructor speaking she could not hear him playing the banjo. She could see him playing and speaking but couldn't hear the banjo. Everyone else on the meeting said the sound was fine. This seems very strange to me as I assume he was using the same microphone both for his voice and the banjo. Is there a setting we missed?

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @fritzdfk.

This is likely due to a missed setting on the committee of your Host, or whoever was playing the banjo.

If you can reach them, you might send them this link for Original sound for musicians:
