On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Hello @misterandre – To clarify, do you only have 1 Zoom Pro Personal license in your account? The rule of thumb here is that your Zoom licenses have a 1:1 ratio (1 license : 1 user - it's not meant to be shared). Here are answers to your question:

  1. If I add another person to a Zoom Pro personal account, do they sign in using my email address or their own?
    • If you add another person in your Account, they will have a separate profile. The profiles are based on their email address. They will use their own email address to log in.
  2. Will our meetings be shown on each other's account?
    • Not by default but you can enable this via Scheduling Privileges. As an Account Admin / Owner (which I assume you are), you have visibility over all meetings by your users.
  3. Is the time limit 40 minutes or 30 hours?
    • This is dependent on the license assigned to the user you added. If you assign a basic license, then it will be capped at 40 minutes. But, if it's a paid license, then 30 hours.

I will have one license as the owner and the other person will have a license as an administrator. We're doing the Pro annual ($160 / year for each person), so it should be 30 hours per meeting, correct?

Confirming that it is 30 hours for Pro licensed users.
