I'm a teacher who uses Zoom for weekly classes. My students are in high school and have a high-school sense of humor. Which is fine, but can get inappropriate at times. I'd love to see the following features added to the Chat within meetings:
1) The ability for the Host/CoHost to delete comments or chats made that they deem inappropriate.
2) The ability for the Host/CoHost to stop one participant from the ability to write in chat, without kicking them out of the meeting altogether.
These would really help me moderate student behavior, without making a student miss a lesson.

Hello @teachonline99
If the setting is turned off and locked by admin, then you will need to reach out to your Zoom account admin to see if they would like to unlock this feature so that you can use it. It is an account level setting, and they would need to unlock this for you to be able to utilize this. Once unlocked you should have access to delete the chats.
Concerning feedback, if you don't have an option to add anything then I would recommend following the steps in the article posted above for 'Sending feedback to Zoom'. If enabled, you should be able to perform the following:
If you do not have the end-of-meeting experience feedback survey enabled, you will also have the option to select a check a...
I hope this helps and please make sure to mark the solution as accepted if this information is what you needed.

Hello @teachonline99
You should have as a host/co-host the ability to delete chat comments in the in-meeting chat. You can hover over a chat, and then 3 dots will appear and you should be able to select the option to delete the desired comment. You can find out more about this here: https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Meetings/delete-in-meeting-chat/m-p/112486/highlight/true#M64590
For your second point, this feature is not currently within our product. I would advise that you request a feature enhancement.
Anyone with a Zoom account can submit a Feature Request to our Product Team, please visit Sending feedback to Zoom. Please follow us at http://blog.zoom.us and our release notes https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/sections/201214205-Release-Notes for new product and feature announcements.
If you are a user on a Premier/Premier+ account, you should have access to submit Feature Requests on the community page here: https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Feature-Requests/idb-p/ZoomFeatureRequests
If you are on an account that has a Customer Success Manager (CSM) then have your Zoom company admin reach out to your Zoom CSM who can submit a Feature Request on your behalf.
So, depending on your account there are a few ways to submit Feature Requests to Zoom to improve and enhance our product.
I hope this helps and please make sure to mark the solution as accepted if this information is what you needed.
Thank you,
Jake

Unfortunately delete is not an option with the three dots. Trust me, I've tried!
In settings it is turned off and it says "locked by admin" -- is that due to my level of account? Or is it MY admin who has that locked out?
I co-teach with several other teachers and they confirm that they do not have the feature either.
As for submitting feedback, I only see options for turning on feedback in my Zoom account but not a way to submit anything by choice. Can you clarify please?
