Zoom Add-on on gmail calendar

I use the zoom add-on on my gmail calendar. 

 

I'm trying to schedule a calendar invitation with a zoom invite - as I have successfully before - but now when I select zoom, it is asking me to login. When I try and login it tries to connect with zoom site, comes up with gobblydook then 'site cannot be reached'

 

Would really appreciate any wisdom!

Additional information - I'm already logged into zoom on both desktop app and through browser. I've also tried reinstalling the add-on but get the same response.
