Why is my "email sign on disabled" as a host?

I would be grateful if someone can anyone help!

This error message keeps popping up every time I wish to start a meeting - which I, as a host - have scheduled with a client. I have to log on manually but the system recognizes me as a "guest" and I have to wait for the host to start. How is this possible if I am the host! This has been an annoying problem for months.

The problem happens only with my laptop and not with my mobile phone.

Without screenshot details I can only guess that you are joining the meeting and not signing in. Try starting the meeting from within the web portal by selecting the meeting then clicking start.

Hi, thanks for responding. Your suggestion doesn't work either - tried it many times, for various meetings since January 2025. Unfortunately I can't paste the screenshot because I "do not have permission to upload images" and there isn't an attachment option that I can use. From the zoom workplace window that I try to sign in, a window pops up with the message " your email sign-in is disabled". I've tried disabling my corporate VPN function (restarted my lap top several times, and waited for a bit before signing onto the workplace) but nothing worked.
