Volume drops suddenly

In two recent meetings, one I hosted, the other I did not, part way through, the volume suddenly dropped and I could barely hear the other participants. This has never happened before. The volume started fine in both. On both, I was on my iPhone as usual.

If your Zoom audio suddenly drops on your iPhone, try these fixes:

  1. Check Volume – Use side buttons to increase it.
  2. Turn Off "Attention Aware" – Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode.
  3. Restart Your iPhone – Clears temporary glitches.
  4. Check Zoom Audio Settings – Set Auto-Connect to Audio to Wi-Fi or Cellular.
  5. Update Zoom & iOS – Ensure both are up to date.
  6. Use Headphones – Test with wired or Bluetooth headphones
