Virtual Backgrounds

Tonight I  held a meeting and found that "Virtual Background" is greyed out - cannot select any.

I am on Windows 10 and on the current version 5.10.7 and I can "add and image" but I cannot select any of the images as a Virtual Background.

I now have 4 options - Virtual Background, Video Filters, Avatars and then  BETA.

First time I have seen the BETA version which is not selectable,- same as the virtual background options.

The "avatars" and "video filters" all operate fine and can be changed.

Prior to tonight I could select an  virtual background images.

Can anyone shed some light please.

Hello @Kiestc87,

If you're able to change this before, go to your Account Profile and check if the setting changed. See here for more information. If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the group or account level, and you will need to contact your Zoom administrator. If it's enabled and all else fails, I would recommend the following:

- Reboot the application and try again

- Reboot the device and try again

- Uninstall/Reinstall Zoom Desktop application and try again
