Video camera working but showing black screen

I am on a Mac using Sonoma. My video camera works just fine with FaceTime, but when I begin a meeting in Zoom my screen shows only black. I have tried using the Video controls, deleting the program and reinstalling, etc. I am flummoxed as to how to solve this problem. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have the same problem - I have tried all the generic solutions (antivirus, privacy settings) can I get some zoom support direct for this?
