Video camera working but showing black screen

I am on a Mac using Sonoma. My video camera works just fine with FaceTime, but when I begin a meeting in Zoom my screen shows only black. I have tried using the Video controls, deleting the program and reinstalling, etc. I am flummoxed as to how to s...
