Unable to Schedule Meetings for Training Room Accounts as Admin

Hi everyone,

I was added today as an admin to our Zoom Workplace Pro account, currently with a Basic license. Within this account, we have five dedicated training rooms (each set up as an individual account with a Zoom Workplace Pro license).

Previously, when accessing the owner’s account, also with a Basic license, I was able to create Zoom links for future courses under these training room accounts. However, under my admin account, when I view the upcoming meetings for the training rooms, the option to schedule a meeting is not visible.

Could you confirm if it’s possible to schedule meetings for these training room accounts as an admin, and if so, guide me on how to enable this feature?

You can find the solutions below for scheduling meetings on Training Room accounts as an administrator.

1. Check Admin Role Permissions
- Go to Admin > Role Management in your Zoom web portal
- Ensure your admin role has "Schedule meetings for others" permission enabled
- Verify you have "User Management" privileges for the training room accounts

2. Enable Scheduling Privileges
- Navigate to Admin > Account Management > Account Settings
- Under "Meeting" tab, enable "Allow scheduling privilege"
- Ensure "Schedule for others" is turned on

3. Grant Scheduling Permission for Training Rooms
- Go to Admin > User Management
- Select each training room account
- Click "Edit" and check "Allow this user to schedule meetings for others"
- Add yourself as an authorized scheduler under their profile

4. Alternative Method - Use "Schedule For" Feature
- When creating a meeting, look for "Schedule for" dropdown
- Select the training room account from the list
- If not visible, the training room accounts may need to grant you scheduling permission

5. Verify License Compatibility
- Confirm all training room accounts have active Pro licenses
- Basic license limitations might restrict cross-account scheduling features

If these steps don't resolve the issue, contact your Zoom account representative to verify admin permissions are properly configured for scheduling across multiple licensed accounts.
