On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Hello @Cathy688

As far as I understand it, the Recording belongs to the Host/Owner of the Meeting an it is stored associated under the owner's Zoom account. If access it given, you can see other people's recordings; I don't know exactly what was your case, but when a user is deleted by an admin, there is a pop-up window asking if is needed to transfer all the data from the user-to-be-deleted to another user, including recordings, scheduled meetings (including recurrent ones), etc.

Depending on your Zoom Account settings, all deleted Recordings and Transcripts might go to a "Trash folder' that gest deleted after a period of time (also preconfigured by your admin).

Talk to your administrator and ask to search for that user's recordings and if it is still in the Trash Folder, the Admin should be able to restore it.

It is kind of a long shot, but you might find what you are looking for.
