I recently updated my Asus Vivobook S15 to windows 11. it is not able to detect my mic, when it detects its so soft and the sound is very muffled. It can work on other apps like teams and google meet. Please fix your zoom app.

@Sheema I hate to hear you are having issues with your microphone. You will need to make sure you are on versions 5.9.0 or higher of Zoom to ensure compatibility.
Here is how you can check for updates: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362233-Upgrading-Zoom-to-the-latest-version

If the above doesn't resolve the issue, I suggest reinstalling your audio drivers for your device to ensure that there aren't any issues there.

Here is a link to a Microsoft support article on how to do this on your machine (assuming windows): https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/update-drivers-in-windows-ec62f46c-ff14-c91d-eead-d7126d...

I have tried all the above, but still the same. My mic works fine on other apps, its only zoom where cant hear. Upon using earphones, there are muffled sounds. Please check on your end.

@Sheema I would also try uninstalling the Zoom client and reinstall the client.
    Uninstall:

    Reinstall: https://www.zoom.us/downlaod

If the above doesn't work, this issue should better be serviced by the support team who can provide some more in depth troubleshooting.
Please see this article for options on reaching the support team. If they find any issues they can engage with our backend engineering team directly.
