Turn off connection error pop-ups

I'm using Windows 10.
I have zoom on my laptop.
When I'm not connected to internet, my zoom application keeps giving me pop-ups that cover the foreground and never go to the background even when I click on other apps. Even when I want to do something without internet, I can't do anything because the pop-up covers the screen.
That pop-up says something like unable to make secure connection.
Even after I close that pop-up, it pops up again and again and again.
I want it to stop doing that. How can I make it stop?

I also have the same problem and it makes my computer almost unusable when disconnected from the internet. Is there an answer to this yet?

Hi everyone!

If you are currently using the Zoom app on Windows please go to the Settings of the Zoom App > General > and unclick the options for Start Zoom when I start Windows and Silently start Zoom when I start Windows.

This should prevent Zoom from auto-starting and hopefully prevent the pop-up.

Let me know if that works!

Have you heard of Zoom AI Companion?

I have been having the same issue. And even when I do this, the same pop up appears.

This does not resolve my issue.

When I open my laptop but have not been able to sign into a Wifi, I get a persistent " Unable to establish secure connection to Zoom" message that will not go away. I need to resolve this because it makes my job of logging in much more difficult.

Hi, Carla. Thanks for replying to this error situation, as lots of people experience it including me. The setting for Start Zoom Workplace when I start Zoom IS turned off, and there is no choice for Silently Start. I am a licensed user and the version is 6.0.11 (39959). Any ideas how to get this to stop happening? Thank you.

Dear Carla,

Please note that this does not solve the issue but is a workaround. The annoying thing is that there is a pop-up in the middle of the screen every 10 seconds if it can't connect to the internet. This is very intrusive and should be able to be disabled, or have an option of "don't remind me again". Literally, if you move it away to a corner of your screen, it will pop-up again.

Of course, we can close zoom or uninstall it, but is that really the solution you want to give your users?

I have the same issue, it's incredibly frustrating. The advice above does not work, as I already had the settings as described, it's NOT due to this. Any help would be appreciated, there is no useful help online.

Nobody wants the popup. Please disable it by default.
The answer: "users who find this popup annoying can just can disable it in the settings" is not well thought through.
I use hundreds of apps, if i have to configure each app to my personal liking i will go insane and wont have time left to do actual work. If you think this popup is a smart idea, imagine that all apps would do that.... it obviously is a bad idea.
Software should be a tool to make work easier. You are doing the opposite when i have no internet. In fact when I'm typing a sentence your zoom app interrupts me while typing with the popup, that really is frustrating. Do you really think this is what the average user wants, and that this should be a default setting?
And please don't tell me to close/open the zoom app every time i connect/disconnect to avoid the popup.
Good software make lives easier, not harder.
Why cant I just see if I'm online in the system icon on the bottom right of my screen? Like the first msn messenger did?
come on zoom....... The link thing was a great idea, but the rest of your app, i am not too positive.
