TXT Records

I have been unable to find any information through the Knowledge Base about whether TXT Records are required to stay in place after a domain has been verified. Is this something that is periodically checked for on the DNS host or can it be removed? Any information I can get would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

@Ray_Harwood  Thank you for your response. I did see that article as well, but didn't see anything specific to needing to keep it or not. I know there are a couple of other Apps that we use that requires the record to be available. I figured Zoom wouldn't be any different but wanted to confirm.

Thanks again.

Hi @Chris_Person

It doesn't need to remain after your domain has been verified, but if for some reason Zoom needs to re-verify or move that associated domain, you would likely have to make available again or choose a different verification method.

Hope that helps and please click Accept as Solution if this information is what you needed!
