Recordings not showing up

I have done some recordings over 2 different meetings, and it seems like near the end, the recordings stopped showing up when I clicked convert in the folder. I know it has been saving stuff until 13.18 because it shows, but the last recording appears on 13.08. The most important part of the meeting happened at 13.12, but it isn't showing up in my recordings folder. Is there any way I can recover the video I recorded? The convert button is no longer working, it no longer loads anything.

I am assuming you are recording the files locally as you are talking about converting them, although they should automatically convert when the meeting ends.  Are you seeing the recordings in the web portal under Recordings?  Here is a troubleshooting document to describe some of the potential issues, and solutions if they are available since it is hard to know exactly what is going on with your situation.

No, I read the info in the link, but I'm afraid the issue is not fixed. I realize that I didn't mention I clicked on the convert button before I finished the meeting, and I recorded after clicking the button. I was/am unfamiliar with how it works. I'm not sure of whether this caused that the recordings made after clicking did not save. Either way, it shows there's info in there because it shows it was updated at the end of the meeting but it's locked and it won't work. I still need the recording and I'd like to know if it's salvageable.

@MedStudent - Please verify that I am understanding this correctly:

1) You were recording locally

2) You found the files that were being recorded and they are still there.

3) You ran zTscoder.exe/double_click_to_convert_01.zoom (Windows/Mac) to convert the file while you were still recording.  You then reran the file after the meeting and it still did not covert the recording.

 

Assuming all of this is correct, can you verify if you received an error when trying to convert the recording after the meeting ended, and if so, what was the error code/message?  Are you running on Windows or Mac?
