I am in the process of a certification that requires moderators to review a recorded zoom session. As part of the moderation, they need to see both participants side by side throughout the entire conversation when recording. I did a bit of research to see what Zoom suggests, and found https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0062314 which states that using multi-speaker view will show the speakers on the screen at all times. The recording however does not do this and it's still pinning on the speaker, making it very difficult for the moderators to evaluate things like facial expressions etc. Could anyone assist me with how to rectify this?

Hi,
If possible I would suggest that you use a paid account and record your session to the Zoom Cloud...it ensures better quality and functionality.
When you’re setting up the meeting, enable the Spotlighting feature for each participant you want to keep visible throughout the conversation. Even when someone is speaking, both participants will stay in view instead of one being pinned as active.
Also, using Gallery View can be really helpful. It lets you see up to 25 panelists at once with their cameras on, which makes it easier for moderators to see people..

Thank you so much for responding! I should have mentioned I have a paid pro account. I recorded to the cloud. My first recording was gallery view but did the same where it only showed the person speaking on the recording instead of the full view. I will give the spotlight feature a try & see if that makes any difference.
