My sister received a new IPad for Christmas and during our Zoom meeting, her camera kept zooming in and out even though she wasn’t moving at all. My IPad is a year old and I had the same thing happen once, but hers just wouldn’t stop. Have you heard of this issue? If so, what is happening?

This function is known as center stage https://support.apple.com/en-us/111102

Thanks, but that article states that it adjusts when you are moving around. She was not moving at all.

I'm having the same issue. IPad camera zooming in and out even though I'm not moving. I checked the link posted in one of the replies but can't find anything called center stage on my iPad. One thing I read suggested that I restart the iPad which I did, but can't see that it made much difference. Whatever it's called on this iPad, I'd love to just turn off that feature entirely. I'm eager to hear if anyone has a fix.

I finally figured out how to turn the feature off! You first must start a zoom meeting. Just opening the zoom app isn't enough. Then swipe down from the upper R corner of the screen and tap on Zoom controls at the top. A screen will open up with video controls and at the bottom you'll see a button for Center Stage. Tap it to turn the feature off.

Thanks, we will try that!
