Hi @foggy43 ! You can view your meeting password by doing the following:

  • Visit the Zoom web portal at https://zoom.us/signin.
  • Sign in with your Zoom account.
  • Navigate to "Meetings" on the left sidebar.
  • Find the specific meeting and click on it to view its details, including the passcode.

Hey, @foggy43.

What attendees see is a likely request for a Passcode — this is a series of characters included in the setup of each meeting.

While a little in the technical side, this Zoom Support article has good information Account using the Passcode for Meeting access:

An option would also be to not require a Passcode, but you would need to enable the Waiting Room.

You can find the password in the Zoom portal next to the relevant meeting. You can then copy that password and share it along with the link with attendees. You can either share it by email or you could use a schedule app to share your Zoom invites that include a passcode by default. One option available in the Zoom marketplace is Salepager for sending Zoom invites that include the passcode.
