Original Sound not working

I use a Tibet singing bowl regularly and used original sound, which worked very well for years until about a month ago. I have applied two updates in the last month and my client is on the currently recommended version.

 

This week I was on three Zoom sessions when I tried to use my singing bell WITH original sound on. The participants could barely hear it at all, or only an initial sound but not the continued ringing of the bell.

I tried original sound ON using both my AirPods and iMac speakers and the bell was not being heard correctly. I have read all the available audio settings descriptions and support articles. Any suggestions?
