Hi! This has happened twice with me this week: I had a meeting booked with one person but they were counted as two by Zoom from the beginning. The same name appeared twice in the waiting room and the meeting stopped at 40 min which was very inconvenient. Do you have an explanation for this?
Thank you,
Catia

@CatiaVas , If participants leave the meeting and join again before their first connection is fully terminated, it may count them as two different participants and trigger the 40-minute time limit.
For more information on this, please see this link - https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/202460676-Time-limits-for-idle-meetings

It might also be that the person uses a phone instead of Computer audio that they did not synch the phone to their PC. If they do not synch a phone to the PC it will show them as 2 connections in the Participants window.
It is fairly easy to synch the two devices, Zoom has a KB article on the subject.
