View on YouTube Hiding Non-video Participants

11 squares are visible and the non-video participants are hidden

View in Zoom Showing Non-video Participants

14 squares are visible, 11 with video, 2 with profile image and 1 with profile name.

Is this a bug? I can find no option in the zoom settings to explain it.

Shouldn't the Youtube Gallery View mirror the Zoom Gallery View?

It will be a tremendous benefit to our show to have non-video participants visible on youtube with their profile picture or name.

@postmorningshow Can you please provide some more details on how you did the recording to YouTube?
Did you stream to YouTube? Did you create a local recording and then upload to YouTube? Did you do a cloud recording and then upload to YouTube?

We stream directly from Zoom to Youtube using the "Live on Custom Live Streaming Service."

Auto-start enabled in the Youtube studio: Screenshot of YouTube Studio Settings

We not create a local recording nor a cloud recording.

HI @postmorningshow ,
There is a different team that created the output that goes to YouTube, and yes, things are set, and there are no options to change the output.
The YouTube output will most likely follow the view seen by the host.
Non-video participants are hidden, allowing people to opt out of being shared on YouTube or other outputs.

Captions are also currently baked into the video feed.

Zoom has released some new software tools and API's, and I am looking forward to people being able to create software to better control what is seen on YouTube and other platforms.

All the best

John
