On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

No 2-factor authentification, but I can only login with a code

This is new and very annoying: I don't have set the 2-factor authentification because we are a group of people that need to login to the account from different locations. But now I can only login after entering a code which is send per e-mail. How can I switch this off and can have the former login possibility?

Thank you for help.

Best regards

Martin

Hi @MartinSch, welcome to the Zoom community! In order to set up 2-factor authentication, you need to be the account owner or have admin privileges. If you are the account owner, follow the instructions in this article and you should be good to go: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360038247071-Managing-two-factor-authentication-2FA-
