Multiple meetings by 1 host

Hi there,

We have a Zoom Education licence and some of our staff want to use Zoom for teaching this semester. School admins will be scheduling the teaching and giving the academics alternative host status.

However, the administrators are running into problems when they want to schedule meetings (classes) at the same time. As Zoom does not let the same person host more than 1 meeting at the same time.

Is there a way around this please?

Many thanks

Catherine

@hmx793,

With a Business, Enterprise or Education account, a paid user will be able to host 2 concurrent meetings at a time.

-The host must start both meetings.

More info and limitations can be found at the link below:
https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/206122046-Hosting-concurrent-meetings

Hope this helps. If this answers your question, please accept as solution.

Hi there @ccameron

Thank you for replying.

However, that won't help when administrators have to schedule multiple classes for multiple academics, i.e. more than 2 meetings at the same time, particularly when they are trying to schedule classes for 100's of students.

Is there a workaround for this?

Thank you

Catherine

@hmx793,

For this use case, your admins could set-up scheduling privileges. A tool to schedule and set-up meetings on the behalf of another host.
https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362803-Scheduling-privilege

Otherwise, there is an option to purchase a concurrent plus add-on, that would allow a host to run up to 20 concurrent meetings at once. A Zoom sales member would need to help out to add this.
