Microphone not working

The built-in microphone (on my laptop) works fine when tested in Zoom settings, however, when I enter an actual Zoom meeting it does not.  I use Windows 8.  Have reinstalled Zoom. Did not help. I have to resort to using an external microphone.  Any ideas?

I have the same problem. The microphone works with Zoom-Test-meetings. However, when I enter an actual Zoom meeting it does not. Since Christmas I use a new desktop-pc with windows 11 and have this problems. With the old desktop-pc with windows 10 I had no problems.

On My ASUS Laptop and in Zoom Meetings with Windows 10, my microphone does not work anymore.  Any solutions to this ??
