Meeting Chat removing hyphens from hyperlinks

Hi I'm new on here,

 

Suddenly having problems when pasting hyperlinks into chat (it seemed to be fine before today), when I paste a hyperlink containing hyphens the first one is stripped out and the remainder of the link is pasted onto another line and the hyperlink is broken e.g.

https://www/exa-mple. co.uk/productpage/new-s-pack

is split into 2 like this:

https://www/example.

co.uk/productpage/new-s-pack

with only the top line acting as a link, which obviously won't find the website.
