Hello,
Everytime when I am in a Zoom meeting my Mac Mini M1 gets really hot. After leaving the meeting it cools down immediately.
I am using May OS 26 Beta which might be the reason.
However, does anybody know a solution for my problem.

Streaming video is intensive work on this computer. Using this computer for animation rendering does the same thing. If you intend to use this small computer for this kind of intensive work I would suggest adding a heat sink and fan.
If this works please click accept as a solution.

Thank you, but I am just hosting meetings. I am not rendering any animations or videos.
The point ist, that I have been doing that kind of work for 4 years on my mac mini and it never got hot. Not a single time.
It started to get hot two weeks ago and just when using zoom.

You can get tips on trouble shooting the issue by Googling the phrase “mac Mini M1 os 26 beta runs hot”.
I hope this helps.
