Hi!
I recorded a meeting a year ago and saved it locally on my computer.
However, my computer broke down and I'm not able to turn it on to retrieve my files.
Is there any way I could retrieve my recording from another computer? It was very special to me and I hope I didn't lose it!
Please help me get it back!!

Unfortunately, local recordings are only saved to the one device that did the recording. Unless you saved that recording to a cloud backup location, such as Google Drive or something similar, there are no backup copies on another device.

I had the same issue. What if I downloaded the recording but can't remember where I saved it? Where would it be?

Hello @ygintrouble
Welcome to the Zoom Community! Glad to have you here.
The default download location for Windows is the Downloads folder, which is usually on the same drive as Windows is installed. For example, the file path might be C:\users\your name\downloads. You can move downloads from the Downloads folder to other places on your PC.
The default location for downloaded files on a Mac is the Downloads folder in the user folder. You can find the Downloads folder in the Dock as a blue folder with a download symbol or as a stack of files. You can also find it in the Finder sidebar under "Favorites".
Should you need further assistance, please let us know.
