On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

How to reduce sound lag in Zoom

Hi There,

I just found out today that my clients frequently experience “pauses and sound lag” when I’m teaching on Zoom. Ugh, I’m really bummed because I use Zoom for my profession and want to offer a high quality experience. We have very fast internet. I use an IPad Pro 12 (about 4 years old) with AirPods Pro. I have HD turned off already. Are there any other things that might be causing this? I’d really like to get to the bottom of it!! Thanks for your thoughts.

SAME - recently (last few months) this has been an occurance, not just on our end, but from clients who also use zoom - they / we havent changed any settings, however, during events there will be moments of no audio / lag, that never happened before a major update earlier this year. Ugh.
