Hi all,
I regullary take part to meetings opened by the same host/account, that set to ask the participants to give him the permission to activate their microphones.
I always deny permission but one of last times I allowed it by mistake. Now all meetings consider that it is given, I am no more asked to choose yes or no.
It already happened some years ago and then I found in my account a way to cancel the permission.
Something must have changed meanwhile, since now I cannot find it any more.
I hope that some of you can kindly help me.
Thank you

Hi Janet81415, welcome to Zoom Community.
When you set up a new meeting, you have the option to choose whether you want participants to enter your session with their microphone off or on. In addition to this, during the live session, in the security icon, you can enable or disable the permission for them to turn on their microphones. I attach a couple of screenshots.

Thank you for reply, but my question was different.
I don't set up meetings, I only participate.
I gave permission by mistake to the organizator / host to activate by himself my microphone and I want to remove this permission. I want to be the only one that can activate my own microphone.

Hi Janet81415
I understand, when we participate as attendees in a meeting, at first the host cannot turn on the microphones of the participants, but rather he first asks for their permission so that he can turn them on, if you have given permission once at the beginning, then for the rest of the the meeting the host will have the authority to turn on your microphone. If you do not want the host to be able to do so, when they ask for permission, you must click NO.

Hello,
You can manage the permission you gave to unmute you in the Zoom desktop client in the audio settings area "Manage".
Regards

Thank you Frank,
Happy that someone read my question and got the problem.
Unfortunately, my audio settings don't show that option (there is nothing between "Contacts" and "Automatically join ..."). This was the way I could solve the first time it happened, some years ago. But now I cannot see this option any more.
I'm sure that the host can activate my microphone not only because I clicked "Yes" by mistake once, but also because during all meetings with this same host I keep on seeing, on the left top of the monitor, the symbol of the little microphone with a yellow point, saying: "host or co-host can activate your audio".
I have not the option you said in my audio settings and I'm not asked anymore to choose when the meetings start.
How could I do?
