How do I disable the pesky chat notifications showing the unread message and message previews?

Hi @GoldMedalChaser 

 

If you are meaning the in-meeting chat, one good way can be to pop-out the chat into a separate window and drag it to the side.

What about mobile version? How to disable this (mostly annoying for me and covering the center of the screen) semitransparent chat preview?

This does not fully work - the chat window forces a minimal size which obstructs the screen and continues to display disruptive chat.

What is needed is an option to not just disable the popup previews, but to completely disable the notice, so the chat icon at the bottom does not appear along with the number of unread chats.
