As host I want to be able to see participants during the meeting, but I want to hide all thumbnails for the recording. I know I can hide video during the meeting which removes faces which is good for the recording especially when I'm screen sharing, but I still want to see participants during the meeting. Is this possible?

Hello,
If you're recording to the Zoom cloud, in your cloud recording options, there should be a checkbox for "Record thumbnails when sharing" that you can deselect under Advanced Recording Options.
If recording to a local machine, in the Zoom app I believe if you go into Settings by clicking the gear icon, then clicking the Recording tab, if you uncheck the box for "Record video during screen sharing", that will not record the thumbnails either. Might have to test that one, I think that's how it used to work.

Thank You,

no this option does not work for the local recordings. It would be really nice if it would.
