Host can't "share computer audio"

Hi everyone, 

As a host on a meeting, I cannot share either sound or the advanced setting "share computer audio". It seems like there much be an issue with screen sharing settings? It's completely greyed out and unable to be clicked.

Hi emmayoder,

If you are a host and the screen sharing setting is grayed out in web portal Settings page, it has been locked at either the group or account level. You need to contact your Zoom admin for assistance to enable it. This is likely the issue.

Is Zoom unable to share my computer audio?

It is important to note that if multiple screens are shared, the sound from any particular screen cannot be shared. On the Share Screen pop-up window, check the box Share computer sound. Additionally, you should check Optimize Screen Share for Videos if you plan on sharing a video clip.

Open your Zoom meeting.
Ensure that you are logged in as the Host.
Click on the green "Share Screen" icon.
You will see a pop-up window where you select your desktop or application.
Click the check box in the lower left that says "Share computer sound"

I have this same issue

CosmicKitty, those instructions are very clear, with a good drawing. But I cannot click on the box for "Share sound." That's the issue that we're trying to solve. It's not grayed out. It's not checked. It's empty, just as in your screenshot above. But I cannot click it.

When I create my own webinar, I can click it when I try to share.

But on a webinar today with others, as a participant who had been allowed to share a screen, I could not click "share sound."

Is there a setting for the webinar itself that needs to be changed?
