Hide Video Panel

Is there a way to automatically  hide video panel when sharing screen, other than having to do it manually. I have setting to gallery view for participants, when I share screen I don't want the panel showing I have to go and click on More than Hide Video Panel, which is distracting when you are teaching or minimise the panel. Any suggestions?

I have the same question and that video panel is really annoying! zoom should have some setting to disable it.

+1 - As a frequent meeting host this is a nuisance. Please add a setting to hide the video panel by default when sharing our screen.

I have the opposite issue. I find it inconvenient that the video panel auto hides when sharing full screen with optimise for video ticked. I don't want this feature, but it sounds like it's just what you want!

I also request Zoom to enable this feature. I don't use the video panel and it is a pain in the $%*&# to forever be forced to turn it off manually each time someone shares their screen

Same issue here(( but looks like zoom didnt do anything about it in settings
