Hi!

I've never had an issue with logging onto zoom from my home desktop before today.  I tried logging in a few hours ago - and I can get into my (basic account) - but if I try to host a meeting, I keep receiving a message that I need to update to the latest version of zoom in order to use the app.

I can't figure out what to do from here.

Thank you!

Kim

Hi,

Your other option is to completely uninstall Zoom and re install it from scratch.

Thank you for the response.

I'm still receiving a notice that saying I must contact my IT Department to upgrade to the latest version of zoom in order to join a meeting.

This is a free basic personal account - I have no IT department.

Hi again,

Yes, you can ignore the part bout the IT department and just do it yourself following the steps in the link I shared.

I have the same problem.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled my zoom in my devices and in my Mac.  It still gives me the basic plan.  Its been a week and I still get kicked out after 40 mins.  Please help!
