On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

I attended a bootcamp class via Zoom back in 2021, and the host shared Zoom cloud recordings that I’ve been using almost daily ever since. These 17 videos have been genuinely life-changing for me. They’ve become a core part of my routine, both mentally and physically.
Unfortunately, the links now say “This video no longer exists.” I wasn’t the host, but I do still have all 17 links and passwords saved.
Is there any way to recover or trace these recordings, or at least check if they were permanently deleted? I’d be incredibly grateful for any guidance you can offer.

Hi @KMB406, thank you for posting to the Zoom Community!
Since you weren’t the host of the recordings, we’re limited in what we can access or recover on your behalf. If the links now say “This video no longer exists,” it usually means the host has either deleted the recordings, removed sharing access, or their account has been closed or changed. Your best option would be to contact the original host or organization that shared the recordings with you. They’ll have access to their Zoom cloud storage and can check whether the files still exist or if there’s another way to share them again.
I hope this helps point you in the right direction!
