Galaxy Buds 3 - microphone not working in meeting

Really at a loss here.

Connected my Galaxy Buds 3, all worked fine.

Closed Zoom during a break, started back up, tested Buds before logging in - worked fine.
Once I got into the room however, the microphone stopped working.

I double checked that the Buds were chosen as both Speakers and Microphone, independently and "Same as System." Tried testing them while in the room, sound was fine, but zero microphone.

As soon as I plugged in my old USB headset, instantly everything worked.

I read that there had been compatibility issues with earlier versions of Galaxy Buds, but still?
Thoughts?

Software is written by programmers (I ran a software development department of 35 programmers) and the number one error programmers make is writing poor initialization routines. You are encountering such an error in the way that this wireless audio device is interfaced with the mobile device. This device requires a separate app to set it up and that leads to initialization issues when things change. When you plugged in the wired headset everything was reinitialized. Similar issues exist with ALL computer systems. The best you can do is find a work around.

I had the same problem until I turned off the Spatial Sound under the Sound Output. (Windows 11)
