Forced to Update again to a version that doesn't work with BMD Mini Studio Recorder

Been using the Blackmagic Design Mini Ultra Studio Recorder to convert SDI to Thunderbolt.  While using Zoom version 5.6.4 everything was fine, when forced to update back in October 2022 Zoom would no longer see the BMD.  Called support and was able to revert back to older version, and forced update was turned off on Zoom's end.   Everything was fine once again.  Now Zoom is forcing updates again and still haven't fixed the issue with the BMD.  Why force to update if the issue hasn't been resolved?
