Elevating a voice call to a video meeting

Until recently, when we would elevate a voice call to a meeting, the voice call would stay connected.  Now, the only option is for the end user to use their computer/meeting audio.  Has anyone else experienced this? How can I revert it back so that the voice call can continue.  We us this feature so that our end users can share their screen, so do not need it to change the audio to be through a meeting.  We are trying to sunset another product we use for screensharing and all my agents are now reverting back to the old product as this is not working well.

This change happened sometime between 3/28/2025 and 4/22/2025. Elevating a phone call to a meeting used to retain the phone call as well.  We use this feature while on the phone with a customer in order to view their screen.  The customer may not have an audio option through a video meeting, hence why we would like to retain the phone call audio. This was an incredibly useful feature and would like to have the ability to use it again.  Open to other suggestions on how to accomplish this task as well.
