It is getting harder to retrieve older version of the Zoom client software.. This is generally a good thing as Zoom is working hard to make sure the software client is up-to-date with all new features and security updates.

Beginning last year (Nov 5th 2022) Zoom began to implement a minimum version for it's software client. This is "rolled-up" every 3 months. The last rollup was on November 4th, 2023 (2 days ago). The new minimum version required to use Zoom ANYWHERE and on ANY platform is now 5.13.5

In the past you could enter in a special URL to get older versions of the software client. Sadly, I just tried and the version you are looking for is not available, which makes sense as it is older than the new global minimum, but please try it from your computer as it may work fo you.

Also, if you need access to Zoom and cannot upgrade your client software for some reason, you can connect using Zoom's Progressive Web Client (https://pwa.zoom.us/wc/home) which works quite well via most modern browsers.

STEP 1: Find the client version to install (i.e. 5.12.8.10232)

STEP 2: Navigate to the release notes page for Windows and find the specific release (i.e. 5.12.8.10232)
