Disable Automatic Zoom Link Generation in Outlook

There is some setting that has started to automatically generate a Zoom link any time I create an event in Outlook that has at least one additional person. The problem with this is that several of my meetings are in-person and so I need to delete the link every single time. How do I change the settings so that auto-creation of Zoom links is NOT the default behavior in Outlook?

This has to do with the Every Meeting Online feature that Outlook recently released. If you would like to disable this, you can do so from your Outlook settings. I followed the instructions to disable. I even selected Microsoft Teams as the provider, and zoom is still automatically populating on all meetings I create.

Mine is turned off and it still creates a zoom meeting.  Anyone else with suggestions?

Ok, I figured it out myself. If you have the desktop version, you must disable it there AND if you have Microsoft 365, you must disable the setting within the M365 online version as well.
