My teacher does zoom classes with me.
My video and sound is very choppy sometimes. The video temporarily freezes, or even goes black sometimes. With the sound, basically the same thing.
My download speeds during the meetings is around 30Mb
This happens regardless if I am having a one-on-one meeting with her, or she is doing a meeting with several other students at the same time.
Using a newer Chromebook with Zoom app.
If I do a test with my phone hosting a meeting, then choppiness is gone (but maybe because zoom is using wifi? or the host is the one with the problem?)

Hi,
WiFi can definitely be the cause of audio and video breakups sometimes.
If your Chromebook has a wired-ethernet port, try connecting directly to your router to see if that makes any difference.
You could probably add a USB-ethernet adapter if need be.
You may also be able to try moving closer to your WiFi router, if you are some distance away.
If there is lots of other WiFi activity in your vicinity from other devices, that could contribute to the problem also.
