Chat Window doesn't float over multiple desktop screens

In my past two Zoom sessions, the chat window doesn't float along with me as I move to different desktops on my Mac.  I have to literally go and find it and who knows where it is.  Is there a setting I accidentally clicked?

The floating Chat window will only follow you to other virtual Mac desktops if there is a Zoom application on the other desktop. For instance... you have three virtual desktops, on #1 you open the Zoom Client and launch the meeting. Then you move the Zoom meeting window to Virtual Desktop #2, leaving the Zoom application window on Desktop #1. You don't put anything Zoom related on Desktop #3.

When you float the Chat window on desktop #2 and then swipe over to desktop #1 the chat window will follow. Then you swipe back to desktop #2, the Chat window will follow you. You finally swipe to desktop #3 to see that the Chat window will not follow, because there is no presence of the Zoom meeting on Desktop #3.
